Pat Anderson

Pat is the librarian at the Montgomery County Historical Society, in Rockville, Md., where she has been on staff since 1995, and where she had served as a weekend volunteer for 10 years.  She previously served for several years as an officer of their Genealogy Club, serving as Program chair, vice president and president.
 
For Five years, she served as Editor and publisher of Western Maryland Genealogy (Volumes 15-19 – back issues still available).   She has also completed brief abstracts of many Montgomery County Deeds between 1800 and 1865, and other records available in manuscript at the MCHS library.
 
Pat and her husband Bob are both natives of San Diego, California and graduates of San Diego State.  They moved to Frederick Maryland, to work at Fort Detrick in 1977.  While there she began doing genealogy research for others, and eventually started abstracting Frederick County Deeds.   In 2010 she completed her 10th volume of Abstracts for publication, Liber O.
